Silver Jewelry, Stones, and Pearls Care
We recommend protecting your jewelry from impacts, and opening bracelets, earrings, necklaces, chains, etc., gently.
Always remove your jewelry before going to bed, before bathing, washing dishes, or before any other similar activities where the jewelry might come into contact with water, detergents, cosmetics, and chemicals. This avoids dislodging the stones, crystals, and wear of parts containing natural leather or other materials.
Jewelry containing rubber parts loses elasticity if it comes in contact with cosmetic sprays or any other petrochemical product.
Organic materials, such as pearls, coral, shells, and mother-of-pearl, require special care. They should be kept away from light and excessive heat, as they can change color, crack, or get irreparably damaged. The skin's natural oils, temperature, and humidity help maintain the pearl's shine. However, the acid in sweat can attack and discolor the mother-of-pearl. Also, for pearls, mother-of-pearl, or coral, do not use standard jewelry cleaning substances; they might be too harsh.
Keep jewelry out of the reach of small children.
Remove jewelry before working with various chemicals to prevent color changes and surface layer damage. Don't wear jewelry during contact sports or activities resulting in excessive sweating to prevent surface scratching or parts coming off.
Excessive watering with water, acetone, or other liquids will dislodge the stones. Also, do not use perfumes or hairspray near the jewelry.
Store silver jewelry individually in velvet pouches or jewelry boxes, in dry places away from the kitchen, bathroom, or shower, to prevent contact with humidity and heat and to prevent oxidation.
Untreated 925 silver jewelry can oxidize (blacken) when in contact with moisture or excessive heat. This is a natural property of silver and is not considered a defect.
Clean silver jewelry without stones using baking soda or special solutions for silver cleaning to restore their shine. For jewelry care and maintaining their shine, we recommend using a soft cloth specifically for cleaning.
WARRANTY
This warranty only covers the fact that the jewelry is made of silver and is marked by ANPC-authorized personnel with their CT-43 stamp.
OBSIDIAN offers its customers a commercial warranty of 30 days from the purchase date for defects not attributable to the consumer.
This warranty does not cover damages caused by not following the guidelines from point 1 (precautions and useful information), accidents, carelessness, negligence, improper use, or other factors not related to material or workmanship defects.
According to Law 449/2003, art.11 paragraph 2, the buyer cannot request jewelry replacement due to fallen stones.
Any repair for products within the warranty period will be carried out for free or replaced according to OG no. 21/1992 revised if it's confirmed that material or workmanship defects caused the damage rather than the buyer's improper use.
Rectification will be done within 15 days of defect detection.
If replaced, we do not guarantee the same model delivery. If the same model is unavailable, a similar model of equivalent value will be provided.
Each product comes with a warranty certificate. Under normal use and by following maintenance instructions, you will enjoy your purchased jewelry for a long time. Obsidian offers a 30-day warranty from the purchase date.

J13/5379/2004, CUI RO 16148853, ANPC authorization for operations with precious metals and gemstones no: 2748, ensures, guarantees, and declares under its own responsibility, according to the provisions of art. 5 of government decision no. 1022/2002 regarding the regime of products and services that can endanger life, health, work safety, and environmental protection, that silver jewelry imported and sold by the company does not endanger life, health, work safety, does not have a negative impact on the environment, and complies with EU standards.
The marketed silver jewelry is checked and certified, has a purity of 92.5%, and bears the ANPC – Precious Metals and Gemstones marking guaranteeing the quality of the precious metal used, or the CT 43 guarantee mark.
